My name is Samantha Krobatsch and I am teaching US History 2 CP and Honors US History 1.  I am a graduate of Rowan University, where I completed a M.S. in Teaching and a B.A. in History. This is my fourth year with CRHS and I could not be more excited for this school year!

 

            Throughout the year each of my classes will be working on various assignments designed to foster a deeper understanding of history. I am a big supporter of analyzing primary source documents and have many techniques to share with the students. There will be several DBQ essays that each class with work on. DBQs are document-based questions that utilize primary and secondary sources to answer an overarching question. DBQs will be counted as test grades whenever they are assigned in class.

 

           Students will be required to take textbooks home and bring them to class every day. Students will also be required to access OneNote and EdPuzzle throughout the semester to complete assignments. These assignments are intended to enrich the learning process, review what we have learned in class, and introduce new material. At times, materials sent home will not be covered in class, but will be required for tests and quizzes.
